Like our name suggests, we specialise in providing low-cost, all-inclusive car hire rates at the airports and resorts where we operate. Originally created back in 1998 as a division within the very popular CarJet.com on-line car hire broker, we now have our own dedicated car hire reservations team offering something not available anywhere else on the web .. all-inclusive car hire rates, with no insurance excess to spoil your holiday drive.
Before you rush off to check out our great all-inclusive car hire rates, take a moment to examine why we've become one of Europe's most successful on-line retaillers of holiday car hire :There is no insurance excess at all!
Unlike traditional sources of car hire at Faro Airport, there is no credit card deposit on arrival to pay for bodywork damage during the car hire. Some multinational car hire companies (and indeed several of Europe's biggest car hire brokers) expect you to pay as much as £ 800.00 if you damage the car ... remember we're called all-inclusive-car-hire.com because if the car's bodywork is damaged during the rental, there's not a dime to pay!
No cancellation charges
You can cancel your reservation at any time and receive and immediate refund. Compare this to many car hire brokers and rental companies who will hold you responsible for up to 100% of the rental value if you cancel your booking!
All required car hire insurances
All required car hire insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) are included in our car hire rates. The vehicle's car hire insurance is subject to an insurance excess value : When you collect the car hire at Faro Airport, you'll be asked to leave a credit card deposit to the value of the car hire excess : (Depending on the type of car you select) between EUR 750.00 and EUR 1250.00. Providing you return the vehicle undamaged at the end of the car hire, this value is returned to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the car hire insurance excess value. The insurance excess for each car at Faro Airport is explained in detail in our section What's Not Included?
Local car hire taxes & airport charges.
Our car hire rates at Faro Airport are fully inclusive of local sales taxes (18.00% in Portugal).
Arrival times for your car hire.
Our car hire rates include service on arrival at Faro Airport within normal office hours (08:00-20:00). If your flight arrives outside these times, there is a surcharge of EUR 35.00. This car hire surcharge is payable locally on arrival at Faro Airport.
Fuel is not included at Faro Airport!
The fuel that you consume during your car hire is obviously not included in our our published car hire rates! On arrival at Faro Airport, you will be asked to prepay a full tank of fuel. At the end of the hire, simply return the car hire vehicle back to the car hire station at Faro Airport as empty as possible.On short hires (3 days or less), we may be able to arrange "full/full" fuelling for your car hire at Faro Airport against a credit card deposit. Please ask your reservations agent for further details.
Insurance Excess deposit.
As explained above in What's Included, the car hire vehicle's insurance at Faro Airport is subject to an car hire insurance excess deposit (depending on the type of car hire vehicle you select) between EUR 750.00 and EUR 1250.00. Providing you return the car hire vehicle undamaged, this value is refunded to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the deposit paid.

Lost car hire vehicle keys.
Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the car hire vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately EUR 120.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday car hire at Faro Airport may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your car hire vehicle. Please take good care of the car hire vehicle key while you're on holiday in Portugal!
Using the wrong fuel type for your car hire vehicle.
Putting gasoline into a diesel car (or vice versa) requires the engine to be stripped down and cleaned. If you put the wrong fuel into the car hire vehicle at Faro Airport, expect a hefty garage bill and several days with your car "off-the-road" while the car is repaired.
Blow-outs are at your own risk
If you have a puncture during the rental the car hire company will hold you responsible for the repair/replacement cost. All our cars are delivered with a road-worthy set of tyres which are inspected prior to each delivery. Typically, bad parking or driving off-road are the most common causes of punctures during a rental period.
Off-road or negligent use.
Our car hire vehicles at Faro Airport are rented for use on the public highways of Portugal. They cannot be used off-road. Although a very rare ocurrance, we'd like you to be aware that damage to the underside of the car hire vehicle, frequently caused by negligent driving or off-road use at Faro Airport (we have had occasion to have to lift car hire vehicles out of dried-up river beds!) is your responsibility. Drunk driving a hire car is considered negligent use.
Traffic fines.
Traffic fines, speeding tickets incurred at the wheel of your car hire vehicle at Faro Airport are at your own risk.
Vehicle glass & locks.
It is a sad reality that in most holiday resorts in Portugal, auto-theft is a day-to-day ocurrance. If you park up the car hire vehicle with personal items inside and, as a consequence, the glass or locks are damaged in an attempt to steal your personal effects, you will be responsible for the associated repair costs to the car hire vehicle. We strongly recommend that you park the vehicle in supervised car parks/garages in the major cities and never leave any personal item inside the car hire vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle's underside.
Damage to the vehicle's underside is the responsibility of the renter. Although a very rare ocurrance, damage caused by driving off-road, impacts from rocks or other items to the underside can cause considerable damage to the vehicle. If this situation arises, you will be responsible for the repair costs.
Infant Seats
Infant seats are suitable for new-born babies until approximately 6 months of age. Infant seats are normally available on car hire vehicles from Faro Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 20.00 per week for these seats which is payable on arrival at Faro Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Baby
Baby seats are suitable for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age. Seats are supplied for car hire vehicles from Faro Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 20.00 per week for these seats which is payable on arrival at Faro Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Booster Seats
Booster seats are suitable for young children from approximately 2 years until 5 years of age. Booster seats are supplied for car hire vehicles from Faro Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 20.00 per week for these seats which is payable on arrival at Faro Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Additional Drivers
You may add additional drivers to your car hire on arrival in Faro Airport. These are payable locally at Faro Airport at EUR 20.00 per rental.
Buy-out of the Vehicle's Insurance Excess
The car hire vehicles at Faro Airport are sold with an insurance excess. This is explained in the section Whats's Not Included? above.Instead of leaving a credit card deposit to cover your car hire insurance excess at Faro Airport, you may opt to purchase additional insurance locally to "buy-out" the excess value - effectively removing your liability for vehicle bodywork damage. This option, depending on the car hire vehicle selected, costs between EUR 8.00 and EUR 14.00 per per day. You do not need to prebook insurance excess buy-out, simply decide and pay locally on arrival at the car hire station in Faro Airport when you arrive in Portugal.
Purchasing insurance excess buy-out is not a "licence to kill" and you will still be responsible for items like tyre, wheel, glasss or damage to the underside of the car hire vehicle. The car hire company may still require you to leave a credit card imprint to cover extensions to your car hire contract or traffic fines. See our section What's Not Included for further details.
Out-of-hours charges at Faro Airport
For arrivals at Faro Airport outside of normal office hours (08:00-20:00), there is a supplement of EUR 35.00 payable on arrival in Portugal. For arrivals late at night you must provide us with your arrival flight number into Faro Airport so the local car hire station can coordinate it's office hours at Faro Airport.
Cross border charges
You can take your car hire vehicle from Faro Airport to tour outside of Portugal. Vehicles rented at Faro Airport can visit Spain but require additional insurance as follows You must however return to the car hire company station specified on your car hire voucher in Portugal at the end of the car hire period. You may not rent vehicles one-way from Portugal, leaving them in another country.
